Our Mission
We Don't Just Support Recovery.
We Rebuild Independent Lives.
Care4Heroes was founded by wounded IDF veterans who experienced the recovery journey firsthand. We provide advanced rehabilitation, prosthetics, surgeries, and long-term recovery support for wounded soldiers rebuilding their lives after combat injuries.

Every member of our team has served, been wounded, or been directly impacted by war. We don't build programs from a boardroom — we build them from experience.

Jonathan Ben Hamou
IDF Combat Soldier · Founder, Care4Heroes
The Founder's Story
Born from the
battlefield itself.
During combat operations in Gaza, an RPG struck Jonathan's armored D9 bulldozer. He escaped the vehicle and lost his leg as a result of the attack. What followed was a long, difficult path through surgery, rehabilitation, and a painful adjustment to an entirely new reality.
With specialist care and a custom prosthetic, he rebuilt his mobility and independence — completing critical rehabilitation in the United States. But he saw firsthand how many wounded soldiers were navigating that same journey alone, without resources, without guidance, without support.
He founded Care4Heroes so that would never happen again.
"I know what it feels like to lose everything in an instant — and what it means to have it given back."

Why Care4Heroes Exists
Most wounded soldiers receive emergency treatment.
Very few receive what comes after.
When a soldier is wounded, the institutional support system handles immediate medical care. But the deeper recovery — the prosthetics, the specialist surgeries, the rehabilitation, the return to civilian life — is rarely covered fully, and rarely coordinated.
Wounded soldiers face an overwhelming new reality: physical limitations, financial strain, emotional burden, and a healthcare system not always equipped to deliver what they need. Their families carry that weight alongside them.
Care4Heroes was created to close that gap.
