During combat operations in Gaza, an RPG struck the armored D9 bulldozer Jonathan commanded. He escaped the vehicle, but lost his leg as a result of the attack. During his own recovery, he discovered that world-class treatment existed - but access to it depended on personal connections, persistence, and bureaucracy.
Care4Heroes was founded to change that reality.
Today, our mission is to ensure that every wounded Israeli soldier can access the best recovery pathway available and rebuild an independent life.
