CARE FOR HEROES

With the outbreak of war on October 7th 2023 many IDF soldiers have been injured, hospitalized and are recovering in rehabilitation centers, causing a radical change in their lives and those of their close family. These heroes are meeting many challenges on their way to recovery and in creating a “new normal” for themselves, struggling with new needs that are often overlooked by established organizations.

Our heroes are those who, without hesitation and with dedication, were willing to give their lives to protect the country and providing all citizens the possibility to continue living a good and quiet life.

Too many heroes got injured and are now fighting their battles in another field, coping with many physical, medical and financial challenges.

‘Care for Heroes’ reaches out to those heroes to help them overcoming their challenges

As a wounded soldier, I have had the privilege of meeting many heroes, each with their own unique challenges. While some of us share similar injuries, others face even greater hardships. I consider myself fortunate to have received the necessary treatment in the United States. However, many of my peers continue to endure significant pain and require the same level of care that I was able to access.
I am currently raising funds to support wounded soldiers who have not yet received the assistance they need. This includes covering travel expenses for those requiring treatment in the United States, as well as funding renovations to make their homes handicap accessible.
In reflecting on my journey, I am deeply grateful to Hashem for everything I have experienced. I believe that my circumstances may serve a greater purpose, providing an opportunity for us to support fellow soldiers in need. I know personally over 80 soldiers facing more serious challenges, and I am committed to ensuring that the funds raised will go directly to assist them.
